As an urban architect who has lived in Albuquerque's District 3 for 34 years, Isaac has devoted his career to working closely with communities across the district to build schools, churches, community centers and quality affordable housing.

He understands the challenges Albuquerque faces with regard to growth, planning and transportation. In his first term as City Councilor for District 3, Isaac has brought the skills and energy needed to preserve and enhance our neighborhoods, control sprawl, and create a sustainable city.

He is an advocate for better relations between police and neighborhoods so that Albuquerque will be a better place for our families to live and work.

Isaac's priorities

• Sensible water policy for conservation and maintaining water quality
• Support local businesses
• Design safe streets for pedestrians, bicyclists, and automobiles
• Increase police patrols in the neighborhoods, including bicycle patrols
• Careful evaluation of our current zoning and planning policies
• City support for infill and redevelopment of our commercial corridors
• Maintain affordability of infill housing
• Full neighborhood participation with infill and new development proposals
